Jeremiah Mason House Guestrooms

Our guestrooms span three floors of the Inn and are furnished with either a king, queen, or twin size beds. Room amenities include: cable television in main sitting area as well as some rooms, air conditioning (offered seasonally) sitting area, and complimentary bath toiletries. Some rooms contain a warming fireplace stove and/or handicap features. Each guestroom on floor two have a private bath (most en-suite). Our budget minded guestrooms on the third floor share a large full bath with claw foot tub and separate shower. Please refer to the Reservations section for details on each of our eight guestrooms.

Our historic Inn offers eight comfortable and cheerfully decorated guestrooms. Below is a list of amenities ( some in common areas) we provide at the Inn which make your stay with us extra special. Included is a complimentary plated breakfast prepared by your host, Valerie Kessler.

THE JEREMIAH MASON HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST POLICIES

CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that sometimes life throws you a curve ball, but for a small Inn like this, I have a 14 days (minimally) prior to reservation check in, or you are responsible for the full reservation. We are Not resposible for cancelled flights, last minute sicknesses or even COVID. I STRONGLY encourage folks to look into travel insurance for your full coverage on schedule changes/illnesses last minute. There will be a $25.00 charge if your credit card has already been charged your deposit to cover fee's. I am a Small Bed and Breakfast and last minute cancellations are detrimental to my business. Certain other occasions during which we may have had to turn potential guests away because there is no room at the Inn. ***** large Group reservations that book the whole BNB have a 60 day cancellation policy *******

Reservation bookings: I require at least a 12 hour heads up for bookings. ESPECIALLY in the winter time.

WEDDING/PARTY/LARGE ROOM BOOKINGS
For all Gatherings where large quantities of rooms are being booked: There is a 50% non-refundable cancellation fee if bookings are cancelled in less than 60 days prior to check-in date. If separate parties pay for rooms, this still applies for special discounts etc have already been applied for said event.

AUTO-COLLECT
Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase.

COVID-19 There are no mandates.


CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.

CHILDREN
We love to have children of all ages visit, but please note they must be well behaved. No running, jumping or loud banging that may disrupt the other guests. Please do advise us no less than 24 hours in advance if special preparations are needed to accommodate your children. Due to the high energy of toddlers, they are no longer able to stay in the INN itself, however, If you have children that are of toddler age, I suggest that you rent the Studio Apartment for this is the best choice for a very active toddler. Children over the age of 13 shall be entered as adults.

SMOKING
For the comfort and safety of all, we are a non-smoking facility. We do have seating areas and butt receptacles around the grounds; please feel free to use them. Please be aware that if we find that you have smoked in your guest room, we will charge your credit card $300 or more depending if I need to get it professionally cleaned. This includes any and all forms of smoke/vape etc.

Pets
We do love pets, but realize that there may be guests with allergies or other issues with allowing dogs and cats to stay in the BNB. For this reason, we no longer allow Pet's to stay in the Inn. I Am now renting one of my Studio Apartments that will be the only available place for a 20 pound or under dog( no cats at all), Quantity (1) that must be on leash at all times, not left alone in the apartment at all, and all waste must be picked up. If a pet is allowed on the furniture there will be an extra fee to remove hair from the furniture or linens. You must pay a $25 pet fee, (per night) when bringing the (1) dog.

Deposit
Deposits are required for phone and online reservations of 50% or the equivalent of (1) night of your stay. Credit Card needs to be collected at time of booking if you choose to pay cash or check.

Check In/Out
Sunday - Saturday : 3 - 7.00 P.M. INSEASON, 5pm in the winter time. (for 1pm check in there is an additional $50 fee, for 2pm check in there is a $25.00 check in fee). There is no check in prior to 1pm. Any Arrivals after 7pm are self check in - which means you must have the door code prior to arriving.


CHECK - OUT: NO LATER THAN 10:30 A.M. on the last morning of your stay.

Please do let us know if your plans conflict with these times.In many cases we can be somewhat flexible if we know in advance what our guests' needs are.

Parking
Parking is a first come first serve basis in the lot. with a little
work we can fit 5 or 6 cars in the lot. There is only room for (1) vehicle per room. All other cars must park in the street.

Damages
We do understand that accidents happen so please inform us when it occurs. (Spilling of drinks, wine, lotion/creams, broken glass or beds, etc.) Please do not eat hot foods, pizza, etc. in your guestroom as grease or heat can damage duvets, linens and furniture to which you will be responsible for. Any excessive damage that occurs from gross negligence or any disregard for our policies that results in any lost revenue, the relevant guest will be held financially responsible for the cost of all repairs and/or lost revenue. (Please do not use room linens/guest towels to clean shoes, wipe up spills, etc., and believe it or not, DO NOT COLOR YOUR HAIR in the Inn. It can ruin paint, sinks, floors and of course, linens. Thanks!) Please ask for an old towel or cloth if needed. Just please respect the Inn as it's our home that we share with you!

Room Keys
I understand that mistakes happen. However to those that lose keys, or take them home and not return them, I will have to charge $25 replacement cost for all keys lost or taken.

Minimum Nights ( In season 6/10 - 10/15) there is a two night minimum ( Friday and Saturday) on weekends in Season. If available and you would like a 2 night stay but Sat/Sunday please call me to make those alterations.
AUTO-COLLECT
At the time of booking, the first night's rate will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.

If guests chose to stay late after check-out time, they will be charged a full day's amount. I have a very short window of time to clean all rooms for check-in. Please do let us know if your plans conflict with these times. In many cases we can be somewhat flexible if we know in advance what our guests' needs are.

WEDDING/PARTY/LARGE ROOM BOOKINGS
For all Gatherings where large quantities of room are being booked. There is a 50% non refundable cancellation fee if bookings are cancelled in less than 60 days prior to checkin date. If Seperate parities pay for room, this still applies for special discounts etc have already been applied for said event. There is a non-refundable $350 large group fee for all large groups and full Bed and Breakfast bookings.

MINIMUM NIGHTS
IN Season - June- October I have a Friday and Saturday minimum. You must book both nights for the weekend. Sunday - Thursday I allow 1 night stays. I am also CLOSED January and February every year.

RESERVATION BOOKINGS
I require at LEAST a 12 hour notice of reservations. Summer give me a call and we can see what is available.
